A patient
suffering from rheumatoid arthritis accompanied by psoriasis
was prescribed Sulphur in 200C potency. When this had little
effect, Tuberculinum 10M was prescribed and a general but slight
improvement followed. However new symptoms appeared and from
then on a number of remedies were prescribed including Zinc,
Rhus tox, Graphites, Mezereum, Sulphur, Staphysagria, Croton
tiglium and Natrum mur., all of which had limited success. Psorinum
was then prescribed and started a general improvement. When
the eruption flared up again, Petroleum 10M was prescribed which
brought about rapid improvement and an almost total clearing
of the eruption.

A case in
related of a woman aged 33 with a diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis
since age 20. She had a lot of dandruff and flaking of her scalp
which developed into psoraisis. The eruption was worse on the
occiput and the right side of her forehead as well as along
her hairline extending to the back of her right ear. Nux vomica-200c
one dose was prescribed than the case has been followed up 5
weeks later.
The author presented this case not because the remedy is unusual,
but because it illustrated nicely the following two points:
Hering's law of cure and the importance of waiting through all
the changes that may
occur after a remedy has begun to act, to allow the full action
of the remedy to take place. This scenario means that the remedy
gave is still acting and that waiting to see the full outcome
of the remedy is the best plan.

Since it become
more and more clear that psoriasis is rather a inetabolic disorder,
a thorough change of orientation is indicated. The etiology remains
in the dalk with a completely new therapeutical method however
there is hope to clear the problem fumaric acid compounds are
highly actic against all forms of Psoriasis even including joint
affections. A success rate of more than 90% indicates a coherence
between Fumaric acid substitution and Psoriatic activity. Constinuation
of substitution of Fumaric acid compounds lead after clearance
to freedom of recidivation the actual crux of conventional forms
of therapy. combined with treatment is a nutritional regime which
prevents exacerbation and provocations. Reacting sequences in
the intermediate metabolism are obviously affected. Side effect
are easily kept under control. A mixture of lipid soluble fumaric
acid compounds is of advantage in comparison to monosubstances.
Psoriasis is dratically reduced with this therapy. Fumaric acid
as pharmacological principle has up till now been completely overlooked. |

This paper
refers a questionnaire based study of 614 patients who had been
treated with fumaric acid for up to 5 years. This study was conducted
to collect data to enable the evalation of the effectivity of
the clinique bean Revil's therapeutics concept. The study revealed
that a surprisingly large number of patients experienced considerable
improvement in their condition. The long term substitution of
Fumaric acid apprarently leads to a further stabilization of the
skin and joint condition. It seems significant that the learned
nutritional behavior plays an important role in the retention
of a healthy dermatological condition. In this context It is important
that the certain etherel oils which are to be found in spices
but also occasionally in nuts the rind of citrus fruits as well
as in wine and products made from grape wine. After nutritional
mistake were made and the skin condition flared up again, their
motivation to continue following the guidelines increasing. |
