Description

      It is a large evergreen tree 40 to 50 feet in height. Almost every part of this plant is used for medicinal purposes in India. In Ayurveda, a medicine with the name 'Pancha-amrita' is prepared from flowers, fruits, leaves, bark and root of the free. Traditionally it has been used in leprosy, skin disease and as an anti-pyretic. It is used to clean up the blood impurities.

Homoeopathic uses

        Medicine has been prepared & proved by CCRH from bark of the tree called margosa bark. It has been found effective in the following clinical conditions.

      Shin Disorders-Itching with dry reddish eruption on thighs, arms and chest. Itching worse on undressing. Itching followed by burning.

Itching without eruptions.

     Fever-Fever worse in the afternoon with restlessness and bitter taste in mouth. Tongue white coated. Burning in palms & soles during heat. Patient is thirstless.
