Description

        It is a large deciduous tree with height of 60 to 80 feet. Bark is proved to be a cardiac tonic. Locally it has been used in wounds, for promoting union of fractures and dispersion of ecchymosis.

Homoeopathic uses

       Fragmentary provings had been made before CCRH took proving of this drug. Following symptoms have been verified.
     Vertigo - Darkness before eyes when rising up.
     Heart - Palpitations, pain in cardiac region with heaviness radiating to left hand < walking, >rest. Hypertension.
     Injuries - Ecchymosis. In fractures for early union. Pain due to injuries & sprains.
